THE STORY
Founded by Alicia Readman in November 2014, BTB was the first equestrian business of its kind in New Zealand. Alicia identified the need for a quality and style-focused brand at an economical price point. With 16 years of experience in the fashion and manufacturing industry, she grew the business from a few select products to becoming New Zealand's most established equestrian brand, designing the largest range of technical, functional, and stylish clothing for riders.
In November last year, ownership of BTB transitioned to Dave and Jane, along with their three children, Hana, Maia, and Sarah. This new family brings several years of experience in the equestrian world, with each of their children either in the past or currently involved in riding and participating in local pony clubs. They are excited about this opportunity and are dedicated to taking BTB to the next level. Alicia remains with the brand, continuing to contribute her expertise in design to ensure that BTB evolves while maintaining its core values of quality and style. Together with the family's fresh enthusiasm and commitment, they aim to build on Alicia’s legacy and keep the brand at the forefront of the equestrian market for years to come.

SUSTAINABILITY
BTB is committed to achieving the best sustainability practices we possibly can. Starting with the small steps of changing our packaging to 100% biodegradable bags, reducing the size of our packaging and starting the BTB Pass It On group. We are now in the process of removing the plastic from all our swing tags. We are aware the fashion industry is not kind to our planet and therefore we will continue to do help where we can.
