INTRODUCING...
HOLLY MORRELL
My name is Holly Morrell, I am an Event rider based in Taupo and a full time teacher at Waipahihi School. I currently have 4 eventers, two that are working at 2*level. My main horses are Alani (Mickey) a TB by Ball Park who I have had for 5 years, we won the inaugrual TiES series for eventing and placed 2nd last season. My other main horse Pampero (Cookie) is a warmblood X TB by Edelburg, he has recently stepped up to 2* and is competing in 1.35m SJ and level three dressage. The biggest highlights for him has been winning the South Island Three Day this year and placing 2nd in the Pro Am Eventing Series. I am heavily involved in organising local events and series.
I am hoping it to be our eventing and show jumping again this season and am really looking forward to being part of the Beyond The Bit team.
ELLA RAE-WOOD
My name is Ella Rae-Wood and I am 12 years old and a member of the Greymouth Pony Club. We regularly travel to Christchurch and all around the country to compete, and have had many successes over the last few years with my pony Dreamtime Jazz. We compete up to 1.10cm Show Jumping and 95cm Eventing.

2015 and 2016 1st in 1.05cm Championship at Canterbury Champs
2015 Runner-up Child Rider of the year at HOY
2016 6th Child Rider of the year at HOY
2016 1st 1.10cm at Murchison A&P show
2016 1st Top of South Island eventing champs
Our biggest win to date is the NZ Pony Club Eventing Champs which was recently won by our Marlborough Nelson West-Coast area, and all the riders were from our Greymouth Pony Club.
MARTHA HUDSON
Hi, my name is Martha Hudson and I compete in eventing and showjumping on my main mount, 15.3hh Stationbred, Banjo II. I'm a full time high school student and I'm competing on the ESNZ show circuit this season. Banjo and I are a recently formed combination, but we are already starting to form a strong team. We compete in pre novice eventing and 1.10m showjumping and we are planning to step up to 1* next season. I am so excited to work with Beyond The Bit and can't wait to see what we can achieve together this year.
Martha has recently been selected to compete in NZPCA Eventing Championships in Christchurch in April 2016.
ASHLYN JENKINS
Hi, my name is Ashlyn and I'm 18 years old and have been riding for 7 years. My horse, Thomas is a 15hh Anglo Arab cross who I have owned for 6 years. My goal as a BTB rider is to show off this amazing business as much as possible at dressage shows/ribbon days, pony club and through Instagram so that other people will fall in love with the clothing like I have.
Ashlyn runs the successful 'Mostly Thomas' Instagram account where she has a devoted following of her day to day antics with Thomas.
SOPHIE HOBBS
Hi, I'm Sophie and I currently have a team of two horses. These horses are Regent Lad a 14 year old Irish Sport horse and Wild Card a 7 year old TB. Regent Lad and I have competed at pre-novice eventing, 1.20m show jumping andd 1.15m show hunter. Wild Card and I have only just recently become a combination but are hoping to compete at eventing and make our way up the grades. We also compete in show jumping and dressage. I absolutely love Beyond The Bit gear and am thrilled to have helped Alicia along the way to achieving such a gorgeous range of riding apparel.
ANNA MARIE POOLE
Hi, my name is Anna Poole, I am 22 years old. I am a full time rider based in Southland but have moved to Canterbury for the winter. My horse Zulu and I are currently competing at 2* eventing and I also have a team of young horses that I bring on. I have worked in New Zealand, Australia, Ireland and England as a rider and competed in all of the countries also.
A couple of achievements included winning the South Island 1* championship and being captain of the winning team at the NZPCA champs. These achievements were a few years ago as I have been travelling improving my skills and growing my team of horses. I am very excited to be working with BTB Equestrian as next season is looking very promising for myself and the rest of the BTB team.
